Part of the reason we love our job is because we are all over the map, constantly exploring diverse areas of San Diego. It is a privilege to live in a place like San Diego county where the beach, mountains, and desert are all within reach. Even though it's good for us, going outside is something most people don't do enough! So, in the spirit of getting out and enjoying this place we call home, we've listed 10 unique places in San Diego to go and explore with your friends/family this month. If you visit one of these places, take a picture and send it to us!
1. Balboa Park
Balboa Park is a cultural oasis in the heart of San Diego, offering beautiful gardens, museums, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. The park is a wonderful place for families and individuals alike to enjoy a peaceful stroll or take part in various cultural activities.
2. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
Located along the coast, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is known for its stunning views and unique flora, including the rare Torrey Pine. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails that overlook the ocean, providing a perfect escape into nature without leaving the city.
3. Mission Bay Park

Although there are access points throughout the neighnborhood parks and fields, the full route is just under 6 miles long! Though it can take a while, it's considered an easy trail with tranquil views and plenty of stopping points.
